TCWebPros June 2009 Meeting Notice - Social Media and SEO
The June 2009 monthly meeting of TC Web Pros will be held on June 16th, 2009 from 11:30 am to 1:00 p.m. Networking time is from 11:00 am to 11:30 a.m. for those who can make it a little early.
Logo winner announced!
TCWebpros.org is getting a whole new look and feel! As part of that, many of you voted on the logos on this page.
The voting is now closed, and we are proud to announce that Dan Moriarty (logo 5) from Minneapolis Web Design is our logo winner. Congratulations, Dan! Thanks to Rick Chasin (Logos 2, 3, and 4) from designrac and Lindagail Roy (logo 1) from Webtasia Design for your contributions. All of the logos were fantastic - it was tough to choose just one logo to vote on!
Dan's logo will be the basis for the upcoming TC Web Pros website design. The colors, the style, and the “coolness factor” will all spring from the winning logo design. Dan's business will be highlighted on the Home page of the new website for two months, and will be listed in the website footer with a link to his website for the lifetime of the new website. Meanwhile, all logos will be showcased here, on the logo contest page, as well as the new site, so all can see how creative you are.
Thanks again to all of the contributors. You all, as Shelly Hill mentioned in an email, win the undying gratitude of those of us with no artistic skill whatsoever.

TCWebpros User Group Meeting
Sorry this announcement is going out so late but the month just sneaked up on me.
Last month’s open meeting was so successful that we’ve decided to throw another one.
Tomorrow's meeting will be again be an open roundtable, but it is focused on how is everyone handling the Apple Versus Flash issue? Plenty to talk about there as we have a number of Flash developers in our ranks and many of our clients have Flash on their website or have sites completely done in Flash.
Tools and resources from TC Web Pros July meeting
The topic for the July TC Web Pros was open for anyone to present a favorite tool or resource. During the session, we took notes online using one of the presented tools etherpad. Click the read more link to check out the transcript from the session. Or, better yet, go to the live pad and add your favorite resource to keep the list alive. Some members requested that we add a "tools" or "resources" section to tcwebpros.org -- perhaps this list can serve as the jumping off point for such a section.

July 2010 TCWebPros Meeting
Our next meeting on the third Tuesday of July will be an exciting one. The
plan is to have an open meeting for everyone to bring a list of their
favorite web tools and software tools and share them.
If you have web tools or software that you're especially fond of that you
would love to share with other members, please attend.
This will be a wonderful opportunity for all of us to learn something new!
